The Daffodil 🌼🌼🌼 Day Dip has quickly become a much-loved yearly ritual for Australians affected by cancer. Whether it’s in honour of a loved one or mate, or to mark your own cancer journey, a cold Dip is a meaningful way to connect to a cause affecting so many of us.
This Daffodil Day, PodSquad is creating an awareness for Cancer Council. We’re taking to the cold winter waters to support people affected by cancer, and raising funds for ground-breaking cancer research.
We’ll begin our standard two kilometre swim a little earlier at 7:15 am sharp with a short statement by Mike Adendorff about the awareness campaign.
Please:
- Take the Daffodil Day Dip: Join us for a cold water plunge
- Wear a yellow swim cap 🟡
- Arrive: a little earlier – by 7:15am
- Bring: a plate to share for breakfast afterwards at SUP ☕🥐
- Donate: If you would like to donate you can do so through PodSquader 🐬 Margie Campbell (click on Margie’s name to donate) who is registered for the Daffodil Dip
- Donate: Make a donation through one of our registered swimmers (Eg Margie)
- Support: Support online or at local community stalls.
- Buy fresh flowers: Purchase daffodils to show your support.
